Meet the team

Dr. Lovie Negrin is the executive director of Randomize Now, a medical research company that successfully increases the participation of blacks and underserved people in clinical trials. Over her 10-year tenure in research, Dr. Lovie has strategically implemented tactics to educate marginalized communities and ensure they have accessibility to novel therapies that will decrease inequities and reshape healthcare. Dr. Lovie has dedicated her entire career to research and brings much passion for patient advocacy.

LaToya Hinton-Howery, MPH is the CEO/Research Director of Next Innovative Clinical Research, with locations in Houton, Tx and Chicago, IL. Both locations are multi-specialty sites that focus on introducing clinical trials to minority populations.

She has over 13 years of pharmaceutical clinical research experience. LaToya, along with her colleagues at Noir Research Collective aspire to continue educating medical professionals on how to break into the world of clinical research and how to efficiently operate at the site level.

Danielle Mitchell, is the founder of Black Women in Clinical Research, which aims to educate, empower, support, and help Black women thrive in the industry. Launched in 2019, she is also the founder of two other affiliate organizations called Black Men in Clinical Research and Minorities in Clinical Research. All of her organizations are becoming a growing force for outreach, mentorship, and diversity across the country. Mitchell, who earned a Bachelor of Science with a focus in Biology/Biological Sciences from Clark Atlanta University, has 15 years of experience in science and 5 years of clinical research experience.
